English upper intermediate course – B2
Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for those who have good prior knowledge in English, equivalent to level B1, and who wish to continue building on the knowledge achieved through our previous English courses.
What will you learn?
- Understand the main points of a complex text and discuss well-known topics
- Participate in conversations and discussions with a relatively spontaneous and fluent language
- Writing clear, detailed and argumentative texts on various topics
- Explain, justify and argue for different topics / issues
- Handle communication in most situations that may occur
Tuition
The tuition will consist in reading-, listening-, and pronunciation exercises, grammar- and writing tasks, and independent work. The course consists of small groups of 3-6 students, and will take place in the form of classroom teaching. This is to make sure that the course attendees will get an effective progression and good follow-up, in addition to create a safe and nice learning environment.
Teachers
Our teachers have teaching experience in language education, as well as education background in pedagogy. They teach in their mother tongue, or have native language skills in the language they teach.
Course material
In this course, you will be using the course material “Face2Face intermediate”. The books are not included in the course fee, but can be purchased at the school or at a Norwegian book store.
Certificate of achievement
Upon at least 80% attendance, you will be given a course certificate that certifies the amount of hours, and level of achievement, at the end of the course.
