Course Description
Maximum 6 students per group. Benefit from our unique personal approach. Moving to Norway can be an intimidating and stressful experience! This course will provide the opportunity to learn a lot of practical information about living in Oslo. Rest assured, in this course you will get all the support you need to live and communicate with confidence. Let us help you get your feet on the ground. In this course you will learn essential phrases and specific local knowledge that will have you feeling confident fast as you will be able to use public transport, navigate the grocery store, and meet new friends!
Level A1
Can understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete type. Can introduce him/herself and others and can ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has. Can interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help.
Level A2
Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment). Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters. Can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.

Language Power International is approved by Kompetanse Norge, an agency of the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research as provider of Norwegian training.
Upon course completion you will receive a course certificate which states the number of teaching hours completed and the level attained. This certificate is valid documentation of the Norwegian training in language and social studies required by UDI, and can be used for permanent residency and citizenship applications.
