Norwegian for Health Personnel

Teaching in small groups of 3 to 6 students will give you a personal
learning experience.

Course Description

Maximum 6 students per group.The teacher has more time for each student in order to help them in their progression. Our Norwegian course for Health Personnel is tailor-made for skilled and unskilled health care workers who do not have Norwegian as their mother tongue. You will receive practical information and training for work situations such as writing reports, listening and conversation. The course will also give you insight into Norwegian society and work environment, communication, ethics and attitudes, management and health care as well as lessons on health politic in Norway.

This course is specially recommended for nurses and hospital staff.
Our Norwegian courses are approved by Kompetanse Norge
and all the teaching hours taken in Language Power International will count on in case you will apply for permanent residence permit,Visa, or your Norwegian Nationality application.

We recommend you to take a level test before you register.

Level B2

The required level for candidates is B1+/B2

Can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialization. Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

Language Power International is approved by Kompetanse Norge, an agency of the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research as provider of Norwegian training.

Upon course completion you will receive a course certificate which states the number of teaching hours completed and the level attained. This certificate is valid documentation of the Norwegian training in language and social studies required by UDI, and can be used for permanent residency and citizenship applications.
