A2 Norwegian Elementary Course

Who is this course suitable for?

This course is suitable for those who have already completed our Norwegian A1 course, or for those who has some prior knowledge of Norwegian equivalent to level A1. The course will prepare you for the Norwegian exam (Norskprøve) A1-A2.

What will you learn?

• Participate in simple conversations about familiar topics and routine work processes.
• Read and understand short, simple texts related to your own work situation
• Speak and write simple messages, and tell about experiences and opinions with easy phrases
• Express wishes and feelings
• Communicate in everyday situations
• Basic grammar and write simple texts

Tuition

The tuition consists of reading-, listening-, and pronunciation exercises, grammar- and writing tasks, and independent work. The course takes place in the form of physical classroom teaching, in small groups of 3-6 students. This ensures that you will get an effective progression and good follow-up, in addition, to create a relaxed and nice learning environment.

Teachers

All our Norwegian language teachers have teaching experience in language education, as well as an educational background in pedagogy. They teach in their mother tongue or have native language skills in the language they teach.

Course material

Upon completion of this course, you will have reviewed chapters 12-20 in the course material «Ny i Norge». The books are not included in the course fee but can be purchased at our school or at a Norwegian book store.

Course certificate

At the end of the course period, you will receive a course certificate that certifies the number of hours taken and the language level. Please note that this requires that you have attended at least 80% of the class sessions.

Certified course provider by Kompetanse Norge

Language Power International is a certified provider of Norwegian language training by Kompetanse Norge, an agency of the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research. Therefore, the number of hours taken at our school will be taken into consideration when applying for Norwegian citizenship or residence permit.
