Online Norwegian elementary course – A2

Who is this course suitable for?

This course is suitable for those who have already completed our Norwegian A1 course, or for those who has some prior knowledge of Norwegian equivalent to level A1. The course will prepare you for the Norwegian exam (Norskprøve) A1-A2.

What will you learn?

• Participate in simple conversations about familiar topics and routine work process.
• Read and understand short, simple texts related to your own work situation
• Speak and write simple messages, and tell about experiences and opinions with easy phrases

• Basic grammar and write simple texts

Tuition

Our online courses use a blended learning approach where you will spend time with a qualified teacher in a virtual classroom. Additionally, you can add private lessons with our language specialist to work on your pronunciation.

The training methodology is communicative, focusing on interactive activities in the virtual classroom, but also includes reading and writing practice.

The course takes place in a small group which ensures that you will get an effective progression and good follow-up, in addition to create a relaxed and nice learning environment.

Teachers

All our Norwegian language teachers have teaching experience in language education, as well as educational background in pedagogy. They teach in their mother tongue or have native language skills in the language they teach.

• An online device (laptop, tablet, smart phone)
• Internet connection
• Headphones with microphone and webcam
• “Ny I Norge” workbook & textbook. The course material may be purchased when booking the course online.

Course certificate

At the end of the course period, you will receive a course certificate which certifies the number of hours taken, and the language level. Please note that this requires that you have attended at least 80% of the class sessions.

Language Power International is certified provider of Norwegian language training by Kompetanse Norge, an agency of the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research. Therefore, the number of hours taken at our school will be taken into consideration when applying for Norwegian citizenship or residence permit.
