One of the conferences organized by the Norwegian Addiction Federation (Rusfeltets hovedorganisasjon) was a perfect example of this, where they contacted us with a request for Norwegian-English simultaneous interpretation services to be provided at their event.
The Norwegian Addiction Federation was established in 1991 as a political and professional members organization. Their members are organizations and institutions with substance addiction as their field of interest. As the largest and most representative federation in Norway, the Norwegian Addiction Federation was hosting a conference at Vika Atrium in Oslo about drug policies. With over 160 Norwegian and international participants, it was crucial to ensure that everyone could understand and engage with the speakers, some of whom would deliver their speeches in Norwegian. That's why they contacted us to provide Norwegian-English simultaneous interpretation services and audio equipment for the event.
With only two weeks’ notice, the short timeline provided a challenge for us, and it was crucial for us to receive all the necessary information to help our interpreters prepare for the event and ensure that all equipment arrived on time. Fortunately, we were able to maintain efficient communication with the Norwegian Addiction Federation throughout the entire process.
