This A1 English course is suitable for complete beginners, as well as learners with very limited knowledge of English who want a safe, structured and effective start.
The course is ideal for adults who want to use English in everyday life, while travelling, in simple work situations or when communicating with English-speaking people.
This beginner English course focuses on practical communication, pronunciation, basic grammar and useful vocabulary you can use in real-life situations.
-
At A1 level, you will learn to understand and use simple English words, expressions and sentences in everyday situations.
By the end of the course, you will work towards being able to:
- introduce yourself and others in English
- ask and answer simple questions
- use common everyday expressions and polite phrases
- talk about family, work, free time, food, travel and daily routines
- understand simple messages and short conversations
- read and write short, simple texts in English
- use basic English grammar
- improve your pronunciation and confidence when speaking
The goal is to help you feel more confident using English in simple and practical situations.
-
The course combines speaking practice, listening exercises, reading, writing, pronunciation and grammar. You will work with practical tasks designed to help you use English actively, not just learn grammar rules.
The course is taught in small groups, usually with 3–6 students. This gives you more speaking time, closer follow-up from the teacher and a safer learning environment than in larger classes.
Your teacher will guide you step by step with pronunciation, sentence structure, vocabulary and practical communication, so you gradually become more confident when speaking English.
-
Small groups make it easier to learn English actively. In a small class, you get more time to speak, ask questions and receive personal feedback.
In a small group, you get:
- more speaking practice in every lesson
- more individual attention from the teacher
- more opportunities to practise pronunciation
- a safe environment to make mistakes and learn from them
- better progression than in larger classes
- a friendly and supportive learning atmosphere
This is especially helpful for beginners who want a safe and structured start with English.
-
Yes. The course is designed for beginners and for learners who may feel unsure or nervous when speaking English.
We start with basic words, expressions and sentences, and gradually build your language skills step by step. You will receive support from your teacher and plenty of opportunities to practise in a safe environment.
The goal is not to know everything immediately, but to become more comfortable using English little by little.
-
Yes. The A1 course gives you basic English that can be used in practical situations at work, while travelling and in everyday life.

If you need more work-related English or want to use English more independently, you can continue to the next level after A1.
