In the Norwegian Course A1, you’ll learn how to introduce yourself and engage in simple conversations, making your interactions more meaningful in a new language. Through interactive activities, conversations and group exercises, you’ll be equipped with essential communication skills for basic everyday situations and prepared for more complex language structures.

In this course, you’ll have qualified teachers guiding you through the complexities of pronunciation, grammar and cultural nuances, leading to more comprehensive language acquisition.

The course materials are not included in the course fee but can be purchased at our school. We use the textbook and workbook "Ny i Norge (A1/A2)" by Kaurin Nilssen.

Language Power International is a certified provider of Norwegian language training by the Norwegian Directorate of Higher Education and Skills (HKDIR).

Our recognized course certificate can be valuable for career advancement, and the number of hours completed at our school will be taken into consideration when applying for a permanent residence permit. You will need to attend at least 80% of the classes to be granted a certificate.

Sessions on Norwegian public holidays will be rescheduled to the next available lesson day, typically the following Friday, unless otherwise arranged.
